G2K Labs LIMA Lawful Intercept Mediation Platform

G2K Labs LIMA Lawful Intercept Mediation Platform

The G2K Labs LIMA Lawful Intercept Mediation Platform covers lawful interception, data retention and preservation, network availability, location services, and cell-tower change management — as modules that deploy independently and interoperate as one platform. Developed by our counterpart Group 2000; delivered, integrated, and supported across the Americas by G2K Labs.

The modules

Each module stands alone; together they cover a carrier's obligations end to end. All are vendor-agnostic and integrate with existing network equipment — with the intercept core supporting every generation through 5G.

LIMA Lawful Intercept

The interception core of the G2K Labs LIMA Lawful Intercept Mediation Platform: warrant administration, mediation, and delivery to law-enforcement monitoring facilities in ETSI, 3GPP, and ATIS/J-STD-025-B (CALEA) handover formats.

  • ADMF management console for warrant and target administration
  • MDF2/MDF3 mediation and delivery — up to 23 Gbps sustained throughput per instance
  • All technologies and services, including 5G, VoLTE (with S8HR inbound-roaming interception), and Narrowband-IoT
  • Multi-LEA / multi-CSP: isolated, compliant workflows per agency and provider on one platform
  • Handover per ETSI, 3GPP, and ATIS/J-STD-025-B (CALEA) standards; deployed in more than 45 countries

LIMA Data Retention & Data Preservation

Two complementary answers to legal disclosure obligations: Data Retention stores communication metadata network-wide for the mandated period; Data Preservation captures data for specific subjects or cases at law-enforcement request. Both are controlled by LIMA Disclosure Management, a module of the LIMA Management System.

  • Highly scalable, fault-tolerant data store with flexible collection and transformation
  • Workflow management for disclosure requests, with fast query and compliant handover to authorized entities
  • Retained-data handover per ETSI TS 102 657; optional standards-compliant broker

LIMA Network Protect

Controlled network availability for emergencies and events: bar service at cell level or per subscriber class while keeping first responders connected.

  • Cell-level barring per 3GPP TS 22.011; subscriber control via standardized MAP interfaces
  • First-responder prioritization during disaster and overload scenarios
  • Tower-change monitoring and multi-CSP Umbrella deployment options

LIMA Location Services

Target location for authorized agencies — on demand or at scheduled intervals, warrant-gated wherever lawful-intercept rules apply and fully audit-logged.

  • On-demand and scheduled tracking of authorized targets
  • Vendor-independent, across MNO and MVNO networks
  • Built on the LIMA Management System, inheriting its regulatory-grade security and audit controls
  • Pairs with ATLAS for field-validated coverage and court-defensible location evidence

LIMA Maintenance & Permit Management

Change management for cell-site work: permits, safety interlocks, and third-party-contractor controls on tower maintenance.

  • One workflow from permit request to on-site sign-off
  • Automated cell-site shutdowns with full audit trails; field-engineer safety interlocks
  • Security controls for third-party contractors

Standards coverage

Compliance work lives and dies by the specs. LIMA implements the interception, retention, and availability standards by number — and Group 2000 is a full and active member of the ETSI Technical Committee for Lawful Interception (TC-LI).

Turnkey delivery, not a shipped box

Every LIMA engagement is delivered as a project: site survey and solution matrix, architecture, country-specific configuration, installation, testing, training, and project management — then ongoing operation through our two-tier support model with a business-hours Service Desk and after-hours duty engineer.
